Review by hotel critic
If you're looking for a spot that balances luxury with value, Belvedere is worth considering. My stay was anchored by the warm professionalism of the staff, who truly shone when we arrived after check-in hours. They were flexible and proactive, ensuring all our needs were met with a genuine smile. The room was spacious and meticulously clean, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. Loved that parking was available and appreciated the extra touch of linens and towels in the bathroom. The complimentary toiletries were well-stocked, giving that added convenience. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was pleasant; the menu featured a good variety and the dishes were well-prepared. A welcome drink upon arrival is certainly a nice gesture. While Belvedere offers a touch of luxury, it manages to provide ample value for the cost. Whether you're an eco-conscious traveler or simply seeking a tranquil getaway, this hotel aligns well with those aims while making sure you feel right at home. So, if you're heading to Auckland, Belvedere could definitely be a smart choice.
